DIY – Tweet Beep Alerts: Monitoring Your Brand, Industry & Target Market

Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:

  • monitoring a developing news story
  • reputation management for your brand
  • keeping current on a competitor or industry
  • getting the latest on a celebrity or event
  • keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams

Cal Coast has been using Google Alerts to keep up with new places our keywords are getting indexed as well as monitoring your online reputation & branding.

Along those same lines, Tweet Beep was created for these same purposes within the Twitter platform.

We recommend using Twitter for the following uses:

  • monitoring a developing news story
  • reputation management for your brand
  • keeping current on a competitor or industry
  • finding additional twitter profiles worth following
  • finding potential consumers with a need you can fill

That can get annoying Fine tune these alerts until you are receiving online important alerts to help you monitor your own brand or connect with people within your industry or in need of your services.

This includes your name, company name, twitter hash tag (i.e. – @calcoast) main keywords, problems in your trade that you offer solutions to, solutions themselves, and much much more!

  • Save!

Once your alerts are set up, you will receive email updates anytime your alert keywords are indexed in Google.
