Hosting & Management Terms of Service
Yearly With Edits and Rollover
This plan provides twelve (12) months of website security and maintenance services for one (1) website/domain and includes: website hosting; one (1) SSL certificate per domain; up to twenty-five (25) email accounts with a combined storage limit of 5 GB per domain (additional storage available at an additional cost); initial account setup; malware scanning and removal as needed; WordPress core and plugin updates; premium security monitoring with malware protection and firewall; and database and website backups to secure remote servers.
This plan includes up to two (2) hours per calendar month of client-requested content updates (24 hours annually). Unused hours roll over month to month within the same plan year and do not carry over upon renewal. Accrued rollover hours may not exceed four (4) hours in any single month. All client-requested updates are subject to scope review and must fall within Cal Coast Web Design’s standard service capabilities. Updates requiring custom programming, graphic design, third-party integrations, marketing services, or work exceeding available capacity will be declined or quoted separately.
Additional time beyond included or accrued hours will be billed at the then-current hourly rate. Additional charges will apply for remediation work caused by client actions, third-party access, or unauthorized modifications to the website. This plan expires twelve (12) months from the date of activation and does not auto-renew unless otherwise agreed in writing or chosen upon initial billing.

Any content modifications requested by the client that fall outside of security maintenance, core updates, or plugin updates will be billed at the then-current hourly rate. Additional charges will apply for remediation work caused by client actions, third-party access, or unauthorized modifications to the website. This plan provides one (1) month of website security and maintenance services for one (1) website/domain and includes: website hosting; one (1) SSL certificate per domain; up to twenty-five (25) email accounts with a combined storage limit of 5 GB per domain (additional storage available at an additional cost); initial account setup; malware scanning and removal as needed; WordPress core and plugin updates; premium security monitoring with malware protection and firewall; and database and website backups to secure remote servers.
This plan does not include client-requested content updates. Any content modifications requested by the client that fall outside of security maintenance, core updates, or plugin updates will be billed at the then-current hourly rate, subject to a 1 hour current rate minimum charge. Additional charges will apply for remediation work caused by client actions, third-party access, or unauthorized modifications to the website. This plan requires an active subscription and renews monthly. Services will be suspended if payment is not received prior to the renewal date.
What’s not included in all plans
All plans cover routine website maintenance and security within the scope described above. The following are excluded and subject to separate quoting or hourly billing at the active rate:

Custom graphics & design work
creation or editing of images, illustrations, icons, or branded visual assets -
Custom programming & development
new features, custom code, third-party API integrations, or functionality outside the existing site build -
Third-party site manipulation
changes initiated or made by parties other than Cal Coast Web Design, including client-installed plugins, themes, or code edits -
Marketing services
SEO campaigns, paid advertising, content strategy, social media, or copywriting -
Work exceeding plan capacity
any requested updates that cannot reasonably be completed within the plan's time allotment or that fall outside the current skill set and service scope of Cal Coast Web Design will be declined, deferred, or quoted separately at our discretion. We reserve the right to determine whether a request qualifies as a covered update.
