Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing Campaigns have come a long way in recent years as was indicated by a recent Internet Retailer Survey. According to this survey a surprising 66.8% of businesses questioned stated that search engine marketing had performed at a higher level than did their other forms of advertising and marketing.
It was also discovered that 28.6% of E-retailers are seeing more than 50% of their sales attributed to their Internet Marketing Campaigns. This information is good news for those individuals who have been thinking about starting such an advertising campaign but who may have been apprehensive due to what they see as an “unproven” service. With the majority of people worldwide utilizing the Internet in some fashion you can be sure that these same people, will at some point use the Internet (and perhaps your site) to conduct business online.
SEO is no longer the new kid on the block in terms on online strategies for websites. It has grown into a full blown proven industry and will continue to grow with both the Internet in the months and years to come. These days it’s not a question of whether or not you can afford an Internet Marketing Campaign, but rather, can you afford not to have one?
