SEO News

The world of SEO marketing is constantly evolving and the Google
-30 filter is just another example of the ever-changing rules
of search engine optimization. Google’s -30 filter is a
penalty experienced by Web sites that use certain SEO spamming
techniques in order to achieve better rankings. Some of these
techniques include guestbook and blog spamming. This means that
inbound links to your site are randomly placed on unrelated blogs,
Web sites and guestbooks. Have no fear; linking to your site from
your blog is not considered spamming.

In order to avoid the Google -30 penalty, Cal Coast Web Design
only uses ethical SEO techniques and rarely, if ever, recommends
you use spamming techniques to increase rankings. While Cal Coast
strictly uses industry-approved techniques, it is possible for
Google to accidentally view an ethical technique as spamming.
We have not seen this type of penalty for any of our clients whose
rankings we monitor monthly however we know business owners are
aware of it. When you hear it form a coworker of yours, don’t
worry :)! Please contact Cal Coast Web Design at 888-281-7665
with any questions.

Tip of The Month

While we’ve told you time and time again how important blogging
is for your SEO marketing program, it is also a great way to keep
your clients abreast of what’s happening in your company.
From new services to the latest industry or company news, your
clients can read your blog in order to find out new and exciting
things happening in your field of expertise.

A quick and easy way to ensure your clients are able to access
and read your blog entries on a regular basis, is to have them
subscribe to your blog. Not only will having your clients subscribe
to your blog save you time by eliminating the need to copy blog
content to your database, but it will also prompt clients to leave
comments or ask questions, which will help add more content to
your blog and in turn increase your rankings. Cal Coast Web Design
can help you create an email blast that will instruct your clients
on how to subscribe to your blog. If you have any questions about
blogging or adding subscribers or would like Cal Coast to create
an email blast for you, call us anytime at 888-281-7665.

Of Special Interest

From Our Clients

I met Angela while attending an AA training course last month.
She sat by me and offered her assistance, while I struggled through
the class. She was SOOOO nice to me! I just got this feeling like,
“She’s SO nice, AND she’s real…..I like
her and she seems trustworthy ….” Then that led to
“I need to look into Cal Coast doing my web site for me”.
She really was awesome!

I’ve been a sales person for 20+ years. I know what it
is like… the challenge of growing your client base as well
as retaining your clientele. And the personalities you have to
deal with!!!!! I know the personality that it takes to schmooze.
Sometimes it is THE most difficult thing to do; you just don’t
mesh. Other times you just click with your customer. I was really
drawn in with both of you ladies. You both make people feel comfortable
with your similar personalities and in simply offering a true
customer service experience.

I am looking forward to a long and prosperous business relationship!
