This year we are taking our 12 days of Christmas campaign around the world, to feature and support non-profits and worthy causes. Its been a hard year for many businesses, and those who need our help the most tend to get ignored during a trying economy. We’d like to see that CHANGE! So… we will be the change we want to see in the world by featuring these causes through our 12 Days of Christmas blogs this year 😉
Today is World AIDS day. Although we have made leaps and bounds progress on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in the last decade, we still have so far to go. Especially in Africa and other 3rd world countries, where the disease is commonly spread from mother to child. Did you know over 2 million children under the age of 15 have HIV? Its so sad 🙁
How you can you support the AIDS cause?
Easily, in a few ways:
1. Get tested. Show the world its no big whup. Tell your friends you’ve been tested in hopes they will follow your example!
2. Promote awareness. You can do that by going to http://www.aids.gov/ and ‘friending’, ‘following’, or ‘subscribing’ to the social network of your preference. Then, share about it to show you care about it.
3. Donate. There are a ton of charities out there to support AIDS awareness and research! One of our favorites is WorldVision, because they focus on helping and teaching the children.
However you choose to support the AIDS cause, we thank you for taking the time to care and share. We are so thankful for all the non-profits and charities out there who tirelessly work on the cause, we have so much knowledge and progress due to your efforts – THANK YOU!
