There are numerous charitable organizations that do a lot of good for those in need but perhaps none do more than St. Baldrick’s Foundation. St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research and they’ve helped thousands of sick children since their inception. The foundation is best known for it’s contributors and families shaving their head in support of children in need.
Cal Coast Web Design client Michael Meyer, CEO of an Orange County paving company known as Champion Paving Inc., has been involved with St. Baldricks Foundation recently and we wanted to take the opportunity to share the story with our readers. In actuality it was a colleague of Michael’s who was the recipient of a new look in the way of a virtual shaved head.
Cal Coast Web Design recently received an email from Michael Meyer who asked us to remove the hair from Curtis’ photo. In that same email he stated that if we were able to do so for him he would have the opportunity to have $1000 dollars donated to St. Baldricks. We where more than happy to oblige Michael and give Curtis his virtual makeover. The photographs below show Curtis Green in both his pre and post shaved states.Curtis’ Old LookWe are happy and proud to have helped Orange County paver, Michael Meyer, St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Curtis too! St. Baldricks Foundation is a fantastic organization and if you’d like to learn more or help children in need, please visit their website by clicking on the logo below.
